"Alfons was recommended by a very good friend of ours as an extremely skilled and meticulous craftsman. Our project was to custom build a two sided, 9' Butler's pantry leading to our dining room. Alfons listened carefully to our needs and expectations, made thoughtful suggestions and presented us with a detailed draft of his proposal. His quote for the project was well within those of 2 other cabinet companies. Throughout the entire project, his attention to all details, including matching trim profiles, shade of the stain for the finished wood and including a demanding curve in the profile of the lower cabinets was outstanding. A second task included in the project was to fashion French doors to the pantry from an open passageway. This too required creative workmanship and a custom and intricate build. In the end, we have exactly what we envisioned, the cabinetry is of the highest quality and the pantry is a major focus on the ground floor of our home. "Earlier this year, we moved into a 1920 home which was in need of major renovations. Alfons was recommended to us, and from the moment we met and visited his shop in February, to our moving in to our new home in June, dealing with Alfons was a real pleasure.
